We would like to make patients aware of a change to our paper prescription process.
Previously, when a prescription could not be sent electronically, we were normally able to arrange for a member of our team to take the paper prescription across to Tesco Pharmacy on behalf of the patient.
Due to current staffing pressures, we are no longer able to guarantee this service. Therefore, with immediate effect, patients will need to collect any paper prescriptions from the surgery and take them to the pharmacy of their choice themselves.
Paper prescriptions for Waterbeach Pharmacy are collected directly from the surgery by pharmacy staff, so these prescriptions will continue to be transferred to the pharmacy as normal.
Electronic prescriptions will continue to be sent directly to your nominated pharmacy whenever possible.
